SquashEmpower – Charlotte, NC
The goal of SquashEmpower Charlotte is to provide squash coaching combined with academic tutoring, community service opportunities and mentoring to under-served youth in our city. Our staff and volunteers are already working with students from East Mecklenburg High School twice a week and we continue to partner with other CMS schools to develop additional programming.
SquashEmpower benefits significantly from community support and philanthropists of all types. In addition to cash support, our graphic design, legal work, and squash equipment for the youth are all perfect examples of the in-kind donations our organization has received from concerned individuals, groups and corporate sponsors (many employers will even match your donation).
Donations for Charlotte SquashEmpower will provide equipment, lessons, and clinics at Charlotte Squash Club, as well as funding staff and transportation costs.
